A former East Henderson High School teacher charged with one felony count of sex offense with a student had her case postponed in district court Friday.
Julie Miller Culbertson, 38, of 1200 Davis Mountain Road, was arrested in May after being charged with a sexual offense involving a female student.
According to the Henderson County District Attorney's Office, Culbertson's case was postponed until the next setting of the grand jury.
Assistant District Attorney Beth Dierauf said she did not have a specific date when Culbertson's case would go before a grand jury.

Your take on Heidi's actions are off base. Yes, i know what it sounds like and i would be appaled and am, but i know mrs Sorensen personally as well as the student. Heidi is one of the most kind hearted and down to earth people you would ever care to meet. If you have ever spent time with pre adolescent children, especially females, you would know they can drive you bananas.. I know that is not justification for her actions but if you knew heidi you would also know it did not come lightly. Heidi has not applied to any other schools and remains a local of rangeley. A well regarded one at that.
