EASLEY, S.C. --A teacher at Easley High School was arrested after he used the Internet to try to get what he thought was a 13-year-old girl to have sex with him, authorities said.
Curtis Richard Ballard, 52, chatted with an undercover officer posing as a teen several times in June and once exposed himself to the officer via a Web camera, Spartanburg County deputies said.
Ballard teaches biology, anatomy and physiology, according to Easley High School's Web site.
Ballard was arrested Thursday and charged with four counts of criminal solicitation of minor.

The story about the Easley teacher is full of errors. That teacher is a close friend of mine. He NEVER was charged with trying to have
sex with a minor. The creator of this blog should be arrested for slander. He was arrested for showing his body on video cam...but he never approached the "girl", who was actually a 30-something female, for sex. By the way, can a 30 something female really act like a 13 year old...oh yeah...she was a graduate of the high school where he taught. Maybe she knew who he was and was out to get a name for herself...food for thought.
